AirAsia Flight AK278 skidded off the runway at the Bandar Seri Begawan International Airport (BWN) and the budget airline press release claimed that "evacuation of the passengers was performed in an orderly manner by the crew". A passenger of the flight posted on Facebook at the orderly manner wasn't as orderly as described by the press release. Wrote Won Fabio , We almost die in Air Asia plane crash in Brunei! Sorry to readers for the spoiler in the header but I totally felt that Mr Tony Fernandes was wrong to fire Nazril Idrus. Yes, Nazril may have made mistakes and he wasn't authorised to give the free complimentary Mediterranean pizza after the wrong order was made. But isn't this how you empower your Apprentice to do the right thing even when it is not allowed? The Apprentice Asia Episode 5 must be of the most confusing episode yet. Why was the apprentices-to-be tested on their knowledge of the financial market and was expected to make money in 24 hours? AirAsia tag line is "Everybody can fly", but when it comes to their call centre, it is "Everybody must wait long long". As such, I thought I hightlight this bug so you don't have to go through this waiting game. I did a booking online for a trip and I usually choose seat allocation so my family can sit together. This cost me an extra SGD9 per trip. When I reach the payment summary page, the cost for seat allocation is there. I usually choose to pay by eNets. To my surprise, the total payment for the flights have been reduced. I didn't go through the process. However, I found that the seat allocation cost was removed from the the total eNets payment. This meant that the my seat wasn't booked. This seamless e-booking system wasn't that seamless. The solution to this pain is to skip the seat allocation process on your first booking of the flight.
