Digital Life is giving $18,000 worth of prizes to Facebook Fans by recognising Fans at Comex 2011

Digital Life will be at Comex 2011 and is giving their Facebook Fans a chance to win $18,000 worth of prizes. What a way to reward Fans! DIgital Life is the only publication at Comex 2011 with the ability to identify fans directly.

The results so far has been encouraging. We made an announcement on Tuesday 30 August 2011 to get Fans of Digital Life to register their mobile number to be recognised as a Fan at Comex 2011.

In 24 hours, there were about 213 Fans registered their mobile number. The 213 Fans generated an impression of 31,950 on their wall post and it resulted in 233 story clicks. Also, it attracted 73 new Fans to join their Page.

We have linked the Stories Published with FB Sponsored stories and will share the impression numbers when they are available.

We expect the numbers to improve exponentially after the show.

The status update itself drew about 410 clicks.

So how can you enjoy the Fan Benefits with Digital Life?

Step 1: Go to Digital Life Facebook Page (http://fb.com/digitallifesg) and like the page.

Step 2: Click on the Fan Recognition tab and click image to start.

Step 3: Enter your mobile with country code (65 if your from Singapore) and click activate. That’s it.

Step 4: Go to Comex and visit the Digital Life Booth outside Hall 401. Just tell the counter staff your number and he/she will recognised you as a fan!

DBS Bank – One Tweet too little too late.

(Updated post - DBS apologise with the 3Rs – Will social media bite? ) It was the bluest Monday for DBS/POS Bank in its entire banking history when more than 1000 of their ATM and online banking services were taken offline due to a software upgrade an outage (PR announced that it was down due to software upgrade, but the outsourcer, IBM, later claimed it was an outage). Frustrated Singtel user draws 10,000+ likes and 800+ comments and growing

A Singtel user, frustrated with the telco's slow mobile data network, shared his disappointment on Singtel's Facebook Page which saw close to 10,000+ likes and 800+ comments in less than 24 hours.
