I used to work at Hardwarezone many years ago and one of the competing sites then was VR-Zone.
Hardwarezone.com has since been acquired by Singapore Press Holdings but VR-Zone is still going strong.
How do they compare in terms of stats? I found this new interesting analytics site, www.quantcast.com, that gives more than just numbers.
From Quantcast,
The Quantcast audience service is a new and innovative solution that enables the direct-measurement of traffic and audience, empowering both publishers and marketers to operate in a more connected way through the strategy, buying, implementation and evaluation phases of a campaign. In a major advancement over existing panel-based measurement methodologies, Quantcast's breakthrough solution couples machine learning with massive quantities of directly measured data and a variety of sample-based reference points to deliver detailed audience data in real-time for all forms of digital media including websites, video, audio, widgets, downloads and advertising campaigns.
Unfortunately, Quantcast focuses more on US audiences but it does makes for interesting analytics.
However, VR-Zone.com is quantified but not Hardwarezone.com. Hence, the analytics for the latter is an estimate.
Quantcast goes further by defining the demographics.
For VR-Zone.com:
For Hardwarezone.com:
Interesting right?

As noted in the blog, I highlighted that HWZ stats are not verified and are an estimation.
