Google Post Now Available for Google My Business

Google Post, which was previously available for the US Elections in 2016, is now available for all small business who have registered their business with Google My Business. Google Post allow you to put small snippets about a promotion, event, or show case new products,etc. Take my company's Google My Business layout above. New Notes On Facebook

Have you seen the new Notes on Facebook? Notes was part of Facebook to provide for longer updates, however, the old Facebook Notes was kind of boring and stale. Say goodbye to the old Facebook Notes The new Facebook Notes now allows you to add a cover photo, similar to Medium,  and even allows you to select Bold, Italics, Mono, and even add links just be simply highlighting the words and the option appears above the words. In comparison, the old Facebook Notes required you to know a little html that you have to enter before and after the text. So far, the new Facebook Notes only allows you to add photos, but hopefully, it could allow adding of videos and even let users put HTML for more advance users. Maybe Facebook should even allow users to add advertising in the post and earn from it, something similar to Google’s Adsense program. Say bye to your new Gmail Inbox, and Hi to your old Gmail inbox

Most Gmail users in Asia would have woken up to a new Gmail inbox with tabs that filter your emails accordingly. You can get your old Gmail inbox back into two simple steps. Step 1 - Click the gear box on the top right hand corner and select "Configure inbox". Step 2 - Uncheck the boxes "social" and "promotions". Click save. Viola. Your tabs are going. Say a big welcome back to your old Gmail inbox.

I have found the 2 steps verification extremely useful in my line of work and feel safer accessing Gmail from different PCs. Here's a video on how to get this security feature from Google.

Can Google Chrome OS pass the “So What, Who Cares, Why Me” test?

Since working with Aneace Haddad at Taggo, I have inculcated the three questions which Aneace has kept asking himself as an entrepreneur. Yes, we do throw ideas back and forth, but when the idea is on paper, we ask ourselves “So What, Who Cares and Why Me?" to the ideas. The next step is to ask if the feature or idea will be seen as a painkiller, vitamin or cocaine. No, we are not selling drugs, but rather a description to how the idea will be seen by potential client. Thus, a little exercise I did by putting the Google Chrome OS in the limelight and to see if the new OS will pass the test. So What? The Google Chrome OS came about in the era when the netbook was hot. The netbook started from the ideas of the One Laptop Per Child and Asus decided to make a low end commercially available version with a Linux OS.
